When the socalled Sonar Kollektiv started its label in 2003 it always defined itself through its sublabels. Every sublabel had its own unique. But people in the public were often confused by their structure. A lot of people knew the Sonar Kollektiv more as an inscrutable mob of DJs, Artists and Labels. But nobody could really tell what the Sonar Kollektiv was all about. So they shut down most of their sublabels and wanted to release everything simply on Sonar Kollektiv. Another reason for this change is, to move on from a typically 12 inch orientated tracklabel to an artists based label. In 2003 their thought was to concentrade more on Artists Development with amazing acts like: Micatone, Slope, Clara Hill, Forss, Georg Levin, Dixon...etc. a important base is given.  Currently Sonar Kollektiv looks back to an impressing catalogue of almost 200 Releases focusing on genres like: Deep House, Jazz, Soul and Funk. The huge diversity in sound can be seen as the reason for their success, since they can aim at so many different people. Right now the new secret love CD is about to be released.

JATOA001 is the first release from the Danish label jatounit. Naked cowboys is a groovy soothing hypno-groove. Surrounded by naive swing sets and dreamy ambient pads.  Building up to an almost mystical level that carries the listener through total ecstasy. The B-side of this production is occupied by Swedish pioneer producer Patrik Skoog aka. Agaric. He has produced alongside a wide variety of producers such as Adam Bayer, Jeff Mills, Hardcell and many more. He is an artist where abstraction level, originality and variety are essential elements of his compositions. Giving this remix a welcoming sound.
